- Red Wing Shoe Company runs a dedicated repair shop in Red Wing, Minnesota (135 Cannon River Ave., Red Wing, MN 55066). Its page also mentions trusted local repair partners nationwide and says pricing may vary by location, but it does not publish a partner list (not confirmed).
- It only repairs boots made by Red Wing Shoe Company: Red Wing, WORX, and Irish Setter. Boots made with welt construction can be repaired, pending wear, but not every style can be resoled. Repair services in Canada are limited.
- By mail: fill out and print the repair form, then call 1-800-733-9464 (Mon to Fri, 8am to 5pm Central) or email customer.service@redwingshoes.com for a free shipping label. The free label applies to services over $50. You can also drop boots at a Red Wing store.
- Prices (repair form, effective January 1, 2026): Premium Repair Package $180 (resole and heel, hook and eyelet repair, minor stitching, new laces, leather reconditioning, and a full-size conditioner). Resole alone $165 (includes oiling and new laces when applicable). Heels only $60. Dye black $80. Replace gussets $100. Zippers $70. Tuff Toe $50. Heel lining or collar $80.
- Price conflict: the repair web page lists hooks and eyelets at $65 and stitching repair at $75, while the PDF repair form lists both at $35. Confirm with Red Wing before you pay.
- Payment: the form asks you to include a check unless you pay at a Red Wing store, and says it cannot process credit cards at this time.
- Remove laces, footbeds, orthotics and other personal items first. Red Wing says they will not be returned.
- Prior work by other repair shops may prevent Red Wing from repairing your boots. Boots with cut, torn, or cracked insoles may not be accepted. Suede and nubuck are cleaned rather than reconditioned.
- If boots cannot be repaired after you send them, Red Wing says it will contact you with options, which may include a replacement pair or a refund.
